This Is Our Happy Place.
The Flow Wilderness Retreat was born from years of experience in the sea kayaking eco tourism world. The intention when creating The Flow was to connect and recharge people, while making the adventure as effortless and comfortable as possible. After a long day of paddling a world class destination and dining on fresh local cuisine, a hot tub soak is just the thing to complete the ultimate luxury experience.

Brody Wilson
Kayak Tours Leader
Born and raised on Maurelle Island, Brody has always maintained a deep connection with the island lifestyle. He began kayak guiding in the eco-tourism industry at the age of 18 and found a passion for bringing others into the natural environment.
Over the years Brody has developed his skill to the point of teaching the wilderness leadership program for Capilano University, specializing in kayaking and outdoor survival skills with training in Wilderness First Aid. Brody has intimate knowledge of the flora and fauna, native history, wild foods, trails and waterways of the local area.

Cristina Fox
Kayaking Guide and Camp Leader
I’ve been living on Maurelle Island and Quadra Island since 1995. Having found this magical wonderland I quickly transplanted myself from Ontario and immersed myself in the natural world, learning all I could of the healing properties of medicinal plants, gardening and harvesting. What better way to support my habit of the outdoors but to kayak for a living.
I completed my guide courses in 2001 and worked as a sea kayak guide for many companies through the years. Brody and I were married in 2004 and started to piece together our dream of building the ultimate kayaker’s destination. In 2007 Go With The Flow Adventures was born. It has been a dream come true: To live the life I wish to live and to invite the world to share in this very special place.

Kat Osei-Mensah
Kayaking Guide
Kat hails from the UK, where she learned to climb, kayak, and cave in the beautiful South West. She came to BC to snowboard and stayed for the paddling (and poutine). She loves taking people outside, exploring, and terrible puns, and Go With The Flow means she can combine all three!

Kyle Leis
Kayaking Guide
Kyle grew up in Ontario and learned to kayak on the Great Lakes working as a guide and camp instructor. He moved to BC to study at Thompson River University to become a teacher and loves spending summers on the ocean to share his passion for the outdoors. If you like some entertainment while paddling, he seemingly has an endless supply of bad jokes.
